Police investigating possible arson at Martin, TN storage building complex


MARTIN, TN — Martin police are investigating a fire at a storage building complex as possible arson.

Around 1:25 a.m. on Sunday, the Martin Fire Department was called to 108 Strand Street after police officers saw smoke rising from the storage building complex.

Firefighters extinguished the fire which had already damaged several units. The origin of the fire was inside one of the storage units and is being investigated as possible arson.

The Tennessee State Fire Marshal has joined in on the investigation.
