Kentucky State Police investigating death in Graves County

GRAVES COUNTY, KY — Kentucky State Police are investigating an overnight death in Graves County.

Troopers were notified around 9:30 p.m. that a man arrived a Jackson Purchase Medical Center with a gunshot wound.

That man, 46-year-old Timothy Roper of Mayfield, was pronounced dead at the emergency room.

An autopsy will be conducted Tuesday in Madisonville.
