IL hunters can sight firearms before start of firearm deer season

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, IL — Hunters wanting to sight their hunting guns for the upcoming firearm deer season in Illinois can do so this weekend.

The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office is opening up its firing range to the public on Saturday, November 11 from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Hunters can use the range to sight their firearms. The range is equipped with a pavilion shelter, shooting benches, and sand bags.

Hunters can bring shotguns, muzzleloaders, and pistols to the range. They can also bring their own targets if they want.

The range is located at 18567 Philadelphia Road, Marion, Illinois.
