Shi’Ann Jones advances to the next round of NBC’s ‘The Voice’

It’s official: Paducah native Shi’Ann Jones will represent her coach, Jennifer Hudson, in the top 12 live shows of NBC’s “The Voice.”

Monday night, Jones advanced to the next round. Hudson believes the 15-year-old Kentuckian could go all the way.

“She knows she has a talent, but she doesn’t know the power that it holds. I’m like, with work and more time, like, I think she could come out here and eventually blow everybody away with that,” Hudson said.

Fellow coach Miley Cyrus added “She seems like a young you.”

Jones beat out three other contestants Monday to advance.
