Man shot to death, found inside wrecked car

MISSISSIPPI COUNTY, MO – A man was shot dead in Charleston, MO.

Friday, November 17th, the Charleston Police Department responded to the 500 block of Cleveland Street for gunshots around 5:30 PM.

While officers were responded, there was another call of a car accident and a person shot near the intersection of Cleveland and Finney Streets.

Officers found a wrecked car with a man inside.

Cournelyous Stevenson, 22 of Cape Girardeau was pronounced dead at the scene.

The incident is under investigation.

No one has been arrested at this time.
