Crash sends driver to hospital in McCracken County

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, KY – A man had to be taken to a local hospital Thursday after a one-car wreck on South Friendship Road.

Timothy Hill was driving westbound on South Friendship when his car ran off the left side of the road after leaving a sharp right curve. Deputies say Hill over-corrected, veered back into the street, then crossed back into the westbound lane and off the road.  The car then crashed into a rock pillar in a yard.

Hill was taken to Baptist Health Paducah by Mercy Regional EMS responders.

In addition to EMS, sheriff’s deputies were assisted at the scene by responders from the Lone Oak Fire Department.
