Uber faces lawsuit from Illinois

CHICAGO – Rideshare company Uber faces a lawsuit from Illinois.

Today, Chicago and Cook County leaders announced a consumer fraud lawsuit on behalf of the people of Illinois and Chicago.

The lawsuit cites Uber’s year-long failure to disclose a massive data breach that affected 57-million people last year.

Missouri’s Attorney General filed a similar lawsuit against Uber last week.
