Paducah native Shi’Ann Jones advances to top 10 on ‘The Voice’

You voted for her, and she’s moving on! Paducah native Shi’Ann Jones made it into the top 10 Tuesday night on NBC’s “The Voice.”

The 15-year-old Kentuckian is the youngest contestant in the competition. Her dad, Ricky Jones, is with her there, as both a parent and a coach.

“I’m a fun coach, and tough too,” the proud father said in an interview earlier Tuesday. “And mainly, I’m her daddy. I know a little bit about music. I don’t know the education part of it, but I know when it’s right.”

He said he and his daughter are both “Paducah proud.” You can watch the full interview of Shi’Ann and Ricky Jones below this story.
