Arlington man charged with stabbing two men in parking lot

CARLISLE COUNTY, KY — An Arlington man was arrested after he allegedly stabbed two men.

Around 5:30 p.m. Monday, Kentucky State Police were called by Carlisle County dispatch to a report of the stabbing of two people on Highway 51, just north of Arlington.

Troopers say 35-year-old Phillip Parker of Clinton, 59-year-old William Simon of Arlington, and 52-year-old Danny Malady of Arlington, were in an argument in a parking lot.

Immediately following the argument, Malady allegedly assaulted the two other men, stabbing and cutting both of them.

Parker was taken to a local hospital where he was treated and released.

Simon was taken by helicopter to a Nashville hospital where he was treated and released.

Malady was arrested and charged with first degree assault, second degree assault, and alcohol intoxication in a public place. He was taken to the Ballard County Jail.
