Paducah teen accused of plotting to kill parents sentenced to 10 years in prison

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, KY — A Paducah teen who was charged with allegedly planning to kill his mother was sentenced on Thursday.

In November, 16-year-old Kyle Parrish pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit first degree murder. It was part of a plea deal to get a lesser sentence.

Court documents said Parrish and his girlfriend, Zoe Bryan, were planning to kill both their parents because they were not allowed to see each other.

On Thursday, Parrish was sentenced to 10 years in prison. He will stay at the juvenile detention center until he turns 18-years-old. Once he turns 18, he will be re-sentenced.
