Gas station construction to temporarily close portion of Cape Girardeau road

CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO — A portion of a Cape Girardeau, Missouri road will be closed Friday.

The city says West End Boulevard between Broadway and Bessie Street will be closed from about 8:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Crews need the road closed to unload and set tanks for a new gas station.

Detours will be in place. Drivers are urged to use alternative routes.
