Tammy Roberts convicted in local murder

GRAVES COUNTY, KY- A jury found a local woman guilty of stabbing a man to death.

Tammy Roberts was found guilty of killing James Pinion in his home in Graves County in February of 2017. Investigators say the two were arguing over meth and money before the Roberts pulled out a knife.

First responders say Pinion was alive when they arrived but later died. An autopsy report shows Pinion died from sharp force trauma to the chest.

Commonwealth Attorney David Hargrove says Roberts will be sentenced on April 17.
