Empty Bowls Project getting ready to serve tasty food for a good cause

PADUCAH, KY — You’ll be able to get a tasty lunch and help support Paducah’s Community Kitchen at the upcoming Empty Bowls Project.

This year’s event is being held on Saturday, February 24 from 11:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the Julian Carroll Convention Center in Paducah.

Nearly 1,700 bowls are ready to be filled with food from about 15 local restaurants.

Money raised from the event goes to support Paducah’ Community Kitchen. Coordinators hope to raise $20,000 during this year’s event.

Tickets are $15 and can be bought on the day of the event, or in advance at the Terra Cottage Ceramics Studio, located at 514 North 7th Street in Paducah.
