All lanes open after jack-knifed semi blocked one lane of I-57 northbound near Goreville

UPDATE: Illinois State Police say all lanes of northbound I-57 near mile point 39 are open.


JOHNSON COUNTY, IL — A jack-knifed semi is blocking one lane of northbound Interstate 57 traffic.

The crash is at mile point 39 in Johnson County. This is a mile south of exit 40 to Goreville.

Drivers are urged to use caution in the area.

No word on any injuries at this time.
