Escaped Hopkins County Jail inmate arrested in Jessamine County, KY

UPDATE 3/12: Kentucky State Police say Wilton Hollifield was arrested by the Jessamine County Sheriff’s Department around 12:00 p.m. eastern time.

HOPKINS COUNTY, KY — Kentucky State Police are looking for an inmate that escaped from the Hopkins County Jail.

40-year-old Wilton Hollifield escaped while on work release at Madisonville City Hall around 11:00 a.m. on March 8.

He stole a City of Madisonville 2003 F150 and left going south on US 41.

He was last seen wearing khaki pants and a white t-shirt.

Hollifield is 6’1″, 175 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He was incarcerated on burglary and fraudulent use of a credit card charges.
