Seven people arrested in Graves County in connection to motorcycle thefts

GRAVES COUNTY, KY — Seven people were arrested Wednesday after an investigation began in January on a stolen motorcycle.

The Graves County Sheriff’s Office says in January, 43-year-old Michael Sullivan of Mayfield called and reported that “he stole a stolen Harley Davidson motorcycle and hid it at a residence on KY 945 north of Mayfield.”

During the investigation, deputies found that three burglaries in Graves County and one burglary in Carlisle County has been committed by Sullivan and his then girlfriend 39-year-old Tabitha Seay Wilhite of Mayfield.

Five motorcycles were found to be involved in illegal activity with fake/removed/altered VIN numbers and/or engine numbers. Three of the motorcycles were found at a local business on North 8th Street in Mayfield.

During interviews, deputies learned that several motorcycle parts, accessories, and other items taken during the burglaries were moved to different locations throughout the county.

In all, seven people were arrested and charged Wednesday. All seven were taken to the Graves County Jail. They are the following:
