You may be happy about our cooler weather, but for some kids, it means facing the cold without a coat.  Join WPSD Local 6 and The River Valley Ag Credit in providing Coats for Kids.

Now through October 25th, donate new or cleaned, gently used newborn through kid's sized coats at your local River Valley Ag Credit office.  Ask your child's elementary school if they're participating in the Coats for Kids Challenge.

What is School Challenge?
Elementary schools who wish to participate are asked to have their students bring in new or gently used, cleaned coats (size newborn through 6x are always in short supply) to their school. The coats will be collected and counted by a representative of the local agency that will be distributing the coats after the promotion.

Our goal is to have no child without a decent and warm coat for this winter season.  Children can outgrow their winter attire quickly so it’s important that we continue this endeavor each year.

If your school or some of your classes would like to take on this challenge, please contact me by email at phoffman@wpsdlocal6.com or by phone at (270) 415-1979 by September 25 to be included. We hope you’ll join us in this worthwhile project and keep our kids warm this winter.
