You must have a flair for production value, incorporating breaking news, live elements, social/interactive media platforms, and vibrant graphics to tell compelling news stories. PHOTOJOURNALISTS
(full and part – time)

NBC affiliate in 80th market has immediate openings on an award winning team for full and part-time photojournalists.  Successful candidates will shoot and edit news stories. WEB EDITOR/ ASSOCIATE PRODUCER

WPSD LOCAL 6 has an immediate opening for a web editor. Responsibilities include maintaining and updating the WPSDLocal6.com web channel and social media sites. The web editor/associate producer will update news, weather, and sports items multiple times throughout the day. Also aids in the production on the morning newscast and must be able to meet deadlines and communicate effectively with many different people in the organization. Familiarity with Internet applications such as HTML, HTTP, XML, .aspx, and flash is important. The web editor/associate producer needs to keep up to date with new, rapidly changing internet technologies. Excellent grammar skills are required. NEWS ASSOCIATE PRODUCER

LOCAL 6, the NBC affiliate in the 80th DMA has an opening for a news associate producer. Research, write, and edit local, regional, and national news stories. Also performs associated production duties during newscasts and assists in preparing news graphics. Must conform to the highest journalistic standards and be able to meet deadlines. Excellent writing and grammar skills are essential. Must be able to react to changing news and programming situations and to understand last-moment instructions from newscast directors and producers. Must be familiar with basic computer operations, video editing experience preferred. A writing test must be passed and a four-year college degree is preferred.
