Not all heart problems require surgery
When heart disease is diagnosed, open-heart surgery may not always be the answer. A cardiologist may correct the problem with little or no incision and a brief hospital stay.

Health Guide
Trench mouth
Trench mouth is a painful, serious, form of gum disease. The term comes from World War I (one) when the disorder was common among soldiers. This rare condition affects young adults between the ages of 15 and 35, and is instigated by poor oral hygiene, poor nutrition, emotional stress, throat and mouth infections, viruses, and smoking.
Insect bites and stings
Most people aren't allergic to insect stings or bites, so you should recognize the difference between an allergic reaction and a normal reaction. Although the severity of an insect sting reaction varies from person to person, a normal reaction will result in pain, swelling, and redness just around the sting location.
Pre-employment physical
Many companies require applicants to undergo some type of physical screening prior to employment. This not only protects the company from hiring a person who's not physically able to carry out the required duties, but it also protects the applicant, should a health problem be discovered that might make it harmful to perform such work.
Childbirth classes
Expectant couples often attend childbirth education classes as a means of preparing for labor and delivery. The purpose of these classes is to give accurate information about childbirth and teach relaxation, muscular control, and breathing techniques.
About shin splints
Before you get all gung ho over starting a new running program, you should think about shin splints. Among athletes, the term is used as a catch-all phrase to describe any pain in the lower leg.
