The Hamilton County Fair in McLeansboro, IL is having a Talent Contest on Wednesday, June 20th at 7:00 pm at the Hamilton County Fairgrounds. There is a $5.00 entry fee for all contestants - entries must be received by Friday, June 15th. There are FOUR Divisions: Beginner Vocal (Ages 13 & under); Junior Vocal (Ages 14-17); Adult Vocal (Ages 18 & up); and an Anything Goes Division (All Ages - dance, instrumental, juggling, comedian, magic, or whatever you can do!) - Sorry NO BANDS (due to setup time restrictions). Prizes in ALL FOUR Divisions are 1st Place - $100.00, 2nd Place - $75.00, & 3rd Place $50.00. We will have a panel of judges judging the event and in addition - the audience will help with the voting - Extra points will be given to the "People’s Choice" in each division. So bring LOTS of family & friends to support you – those extra points may help make you a winner! Ballots will be sold for $1.00 each.
