Event Description

Zentangle® is an easy-to-learn method of creating beautiful images from repetitive patterns.

It is a fascinating new art form that is fun and relaxing.
It increases focus and creativity.
Anyone can create Zentangled art.
There are no mistakes in Zentangle!

Come and discover the new and creative art of drawing called Zentangle. In this introductory class you will experience the satisfaction of completing your own unique, finished piece of art and enjoy the meditative quality this wonderful art form has to offer. No previous art training or drawing experience is needed to learn this technique. All materials are supplied and the class price includes a starter kit because once you start, you won’t be able to stop.

Many Paducah folks know Bonnie Browning through her position as Executive Show Director at the American Quilter's Society (AQS). The “Quilting Tangler,” is also the author of eleven quilting books, published by AQS, and one family cookbook. She shares her quilting knowledge by teaching for quilt groups and conferences across the U.S. and abroad - Australia (1997), Turkey (2000), and Japan (2002 & 2003), joined 80 other national teachers in Switzerland for the Bernina Teachers Reunion in 2006, Canada (2007), and Bali, Indonesia (2008).
In 2011, Bonnie became a Certified Zentangle Teacher to make Zentangle Art - a drawing method devised by Maria Thomas and Rick Roberts.
