Hunting and Fishing Report for Week of November 9th

By Dave Henry

As gun season approaches it looks like everything is falling in place for a lot of mature bucks to hit the ground this week. The bow hunting action has intensified and the bigger bucks are on the move. Find scrape lines and rub lines along trails and creek bottoms to be the best spot to hang your stand. For evenings, cut bean and corn fields are very effective because the doe are using these spots for a food source and if you find the doe, you will find the bucks. Play the wind and use Maximum Draw Extreme Estrous for better results.
For the opening weekend of gun season, hunt travel corridors that the doe will be using going to and from bedding areas. The bucks will be using these routes to find hot doe for breeding. Good luck and may God bless you as he's blessed us.
