Let Us Be YOUR Pharmacy!
Davis Drugs is excited and enthusiastic about the opportunity to welcome such a fixture in the pharmacy community. Pharmacist Albritton most recently worked for CVS Pharmacy, where he began working in 1993 after closing his family drugstore, Albritton’s Pharmacy. He received his BS in Pharmacy in 1978 from Samford University in Birmingham Alabama.
Providing a new pharmacy home for Pharmacist Albritton, means the opportunity to provide his thirty plus years of experience to our current patrons, as well as welcome his previous patrons. Edwin welcomes his loyal patrons and their families to Davis Drugs.
Frequently Asked Questions
- Do I have to come in every month to get my diabetic supplies?
- No. They can be mailed for your convenience, but we are always here if you need us. A prescription is required and we can bill Medicare/Insurance.
- Is there an advantage to getting all of my prescriptions filled at one place?
- Yes. We can help you and your physician check for drug interactions and also make recommendations for over the counter medications as needed. Drug interactions (DIs) represent an important and widely under recognized source of medication errors. An interaction is said to occur when the effects of one drug are changed by the presence of another drug(s) food, drink or an environmental chemical.
- Can I take an over the counter flu medication with my prescribed medications?
- Possibly, but you MUST consult with your pharmacist or physician for advise on drug interactions.
