Contest Rules

Participants and the winner must be U.S. residents at least 18 years of age (parents are allowed to submit photos for minor children) determined by the WPSD-TV, have a valid email address and live within in the Station's Designated Market Area (as defined by Nielsen). Employees of the Paxton Media Group, the Contest's participating sponsors and their advertising agencies, employees of other radio or television stations, and members of the immediate family of any such persons are not eligible to participate and win. The term "immediate family" includes spouses, siblings, parents, children, grandparents, and grandchildren, whether as "in-laws," or by current or past marriage(s), remarriage(s), adoption, co-habitation or other family extension, and any other persons residing at the same household whether or not related.

In the event of a dispute about the identity of any entrant, entries made online will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at time of entry. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. A potential winner may be required to provide the sponsors with proof that the potential winner is the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the winning entry.

WPSD-TV reserves the right to disqualify any contestant who does not abide by the contest rules as listed.

Prizes are not transferable, redeemable for cash or exchangeable for any other prize. Any person winning over $600 in prizes from a station will receive an IRS form 1099 at the end of the calendar year and a copy of such form will be filed with the IRS.

Winners acknowledge that WPSD-TV and prize sponsors have the right to publicize and broadcast winners’ name, likeness and voice to promote their participation in the sweepstakes.

Prize substitutions, rule changes or additions, and contest modifications or withdrawal may occur at the discretion of the management of WPSD-TV.
