Racers motivated by Redhawk comments

After Southeast Missouri State lost to Murray State two weeks ago, SEMO senior guard Marcus Brister was asked if he was looking forward to playing the unbeaten Racers again in Cape Girardeau.  "We're cheering for them," Brister said. "They've got to come to the Show Me Center on Senior Night.  I'm looking forward to it."

Murray State is no longer unbeaten, but that doesn't mean the Redhawks don't want another crack at the 16th-ranked Racers, especially since they feel they let one get away at the CFSB Center two weeks ago.  While Brister and his teammates are looking forward to a rematch, the Racers have plenty of motivation after hearing Brister's comments.

Junior forward Latreze Mushatt says he doesn't understand why the SEMO players couldn't just give the Racers their due after winning the first meeting.  Mushatt says they'll be ready to go Wednesday night when Murray State has a chance to win an outright Ohio Valley Conference championship.
