2 injured in Purchase Parkway wreck

MARSHALL COUNTY, Ky. - Two people were injured Thursday morning after a crash just north of Draffenville on the Purchase Parkway.

According to the Marshall County Sheriff's Department, Coroner Philip McClain of Graves County was northbound on the parkway in the Graves County Coroner van when he attempted to turn around at a median crossing. 

He passed the turnaround and was slowing to attempt to back up when he was struck from behind by a vehicle driven by Roman Bledsoe, 30, of Calvert City. 

Both men were injured and transported by Marshall County EMS to Marshall County Hospital.
