2 missing Florida teens found, Missouri man arrested in Paducah
PADUCAH, Ky. - Two missing girls are safe as a Missouri man sits in the McCracken County Jail.
Police responded to an Amber Alert call Sunday night regarding two teenage girls from Naples, Florida.
Thanks to cell phone GPS technology, Paducah Police pulled the three over on Hinkleville Road as they were traveling toward Illinois.
Ivan Coleman, a 22-year-old from Missouri, is now in custody. He is in the McCracken County Jail on $200,000 bond. Detective Scott Peterson with the Collier County Sheriff's Office says Coleman will be formally charged with two counts of Interfering With Child Custody when he returns to Collier County, Florida.
More state and federal charges are possible since Coleman crossed state lines with the teens.
Detective Peterson says the relationship between Coleman and a 15-year-old girl began through social media.
One teen's parents are already heading back home with their daughter, while the other teen is waiting for her parents.
