Attorney says recent MSU Board of Regents meeting violated open meetings law
LEXINGTON, Ky. - A Lexington attorney has filed a complaint which says a recent Murray State Board of Regents gathering was a violation of the state's open meetings law.
WKMS-FM reports Jim Deckard sent the complaint to Board Chair Constantine Curris. Deckard said the regents gathered at the home of Sharon Green on March 14 and discusses school business.
The gathering happened before the board decided not to renew President Randy Dunn's contract.
Deckard asks the board to discuss the matters again in a public meeting.
