DYERSBURG, Tenn. (AP) — The autopsy for a West Tennessee mother whose body was found last year has been completed but the details are sealed under a court order.

Dyer County Sheriff Jeff Box would not comment on the findings of the medical examiner's report to the State Gazette. But he said that investigators feel the results will be helpful in their homicide investigation into the death of Karen Swift.

Swift, a 44-year-old mother of four, was last seen on Oct. 30, and her body was found near Bledsoe Cemetery in Dyer County on Dec. 10. Box has said his department has been pursuing the case as a murder investigation due to injuries on her body, though they have not yet released a cause of death.
