PADUCAH, Ky. - Kentucky Gov. Steve Beshear will join local leaders Tuesday for the groundbreaking of a new business.

Whitehall Industries, which builds automotive parts, has announced it will hire 150 people with a wage of $13 per hour.

The governor will join other officials at 1:30 p.m. in Industrial Park West.

The county will give Whitehall economic incentives, including a $1.7 million forgivable loan to purchase equipment.

Paducah Economic Development Council President Chad Chancellor says several companies are making a new home in our area because of our location within the state and the country.
