MURRAY, Ky. - A prominent businessman has stepped down as CEO of four companies in Murray.

The Murray Ledger and Times reports that Chuck Jones stepped down as CEO of Integrated Computer Solutions, Blackrock Investments, South Eastern Book Company and College Book Rental Company, all as part of a lawsuit settlement with his former business partner.

Jones currently faces another lawsuit for more than $11 million for an alleged breach of loan agreements.

There is no word on what effect the settlement or lawsuit will have on the future of those companies, which employ about 300 people.

While no longer managing the companies, Jones will remain part owner.
