LEDBETTER, Ky. - The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to shift traffic on the new US 60 Tennessee River Bridge at Ledbetter.

The KYTC says the shift from the new bridge's westbound lanes to the eastbound lanes will take place Monday afternoon.

The shift will allow crews to finish painting and other work to complete the bridge.

A traffic crew will change the striping and rework traffic control on the approaches when the shift occurs.

The bridge continues to be an active work zone with a 35 mph speed limit. Work is expected to last until November.
