MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. - A woman found guilty of improperly euthanizing animals at the McCracken County Humane Society will not lose her job, but instead will stay at the facility in a reduced role.

Dalena Hall was found guilty on 10 of 11 counts of improperly euthanizing animals earlier this year.

Humane Society Board member James Schumer tells us Hall is a good employee who has been there for 23 years.

Hall is currently out of jail pending an appeal of her conviction.

*This story has been updated from it's initial publishing, to correct that Dalena Hall works at the McCracken County Humane Society rather than the McCracken County Animal Shelter.
