MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. - A Kevil woman faces charges after a crash that sent her to the hospital.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Department says 21-year-old Taylor M. Griffith was driving a 2001 Saturn Vue on KY 286 when the car left the roadway, struck a mailbox, hit a ditch and turned onto its roof.

Griffith was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

An investigation of the crash revealed that Griffith was under the influence of alcohol.
