MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky - Kentucky State Police arrested a former McCracken County special deputy accused of sexually abusing a child.  This isn't the first time he's been charged with the crime.

Investigators say 59-year-old Dennis Hines' arrest stems from a month long investigation.  He's now charged with sexually abusing a child under 12-years-old.
Hines was sentenced to ten years in prison for similar charges.

A McCracken County judge made that decision back in 2005 after Hines entered a guilty plea for molesting a nine-year-old girl.

That girl told police Hines tried to rape her in a camper behind his home.
