Fort Knox soldier killed in Afghanistan

FORT KNOX, Ky. (AP) - The military says a Fort Knox soldier has been killed in Afghanistan.
   
The Defense Department said Wednesday that 27-year-old Spc. Angel L. Lopez of Parma, Ohio, died Saturday in Zabul province after enemy forces attacked his unit with small arms fire.
   
Lopez was assigned to the 201st Brigade Support Battalion, 3rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division.
