Four hurt in wreck near local high school

MARSHALL COUNTY, Ky. - A wreck near Marshall County High School in Benton, Kentucky Tuesday injured several people.

It happened around 4:15 p.m. on Highway 641 North.

Sgt. Eddie McGuire with the sheriff's department says a Chevy Colorado carrying three people, including the driver, pulled out in front of an Oldsmobile Aurora with five people inside.

The crash hurt four people in all.  Ambulances transported the injured to Marshall County Hospital in stable condition.  None of the injuries were life threatening.

Sgt. McGuire says everyone involved had seat belts fashioned.
