Graves County man faces drug, DUI charges
GRAVES COUNTY, Ky. - A Farmington, Kentucky man faces drug and DUI charges after purchasing Hydrocodone tablets from an informant.
Graves County Sheriff Dewayne Redmon says Phelps was pulled over on Kentucky 94 near Lynnville on Tuesday evening after investigators observed him purchasing the controlled substance.
A search of the vehicle turned up the tablets. Phelps was also found to be impaired at the time of the traffic stop.
Phelps was charged with Driving Under the Influence 1st offense, Possession of a Controlled Substance 2nd degree and other minor traffic violations.
Phelps is in the Graves County Jail.
