MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. - A crash on Interstate 24 Thursday morning will force construction barrels in at least one direction to stay in place for another day.

Kentucky Transportation Cabinet spokesperson Keith Todd says traffic crews were unable to complete their work as expected.

That means, the eastbound work lane restrictions will stay in place one more evening and will be removed sometime Friday.

The westbound lane restrictions have been removed and all lanes of traffic are open.
