MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. - McCracken County Clerk Jeff Jerrell says he will not appeal his case to the Kentucky Supreme Court.

On Tuesday, Local 6 obtained a letter from lawyers representing the fiscal court, alerting them Jerrell was appealing his case.

Jerrell said his attorney filed it without his knowledge.

Initially, Jerrell filed a suit against the fiscal court after being told he would have to have his budget approved beforehand, something he claimed didn't happen in years past.

An appeals court ruled in the fiscal court's favor.
