Jerry Walker was recently acquitted of arson and manslaughter in a 1998 dorm fire at Murray State University.

He'll be back in a courtroom today facing new charges linked to the same case.

Walker will be arraigned today on six evidence tampering charges.

The charges stem from letters he wrote in the days following the 1998 fire at a Murray State University dorm.

While evidence tampering charges are often related to destroying of evidence, they also can be for fabricating evidence.

Walker is currently an assistant principal at Paducah Middle School.

Last week, the superintendent there said he would wait to make a decision on Walker's future until he knows more about the charges and the case.
