A political advisor for Ashley Judd is blaming Kentucky Democrats for torpedoing her potential U.S. Senate run.

Johnathan Miller wrote a story for The Daily Beast Monday where he blames a handful of "Democratic professionals" of railing against Judd.

Miller also blames anonymous sources for spreading mis-truths about Judd, including a comment she reportedly made comparing getting raped to facing Senator McConnell.

Miller claims in the article that the Democrats pushed Judd out to promote Secretary of State Allison Lundergan-Grimes, adding some of the Democrats stood to make money off a Grimes run.

Miller does not name any of the Democratic leaders he says rallied against Judd, and admits it was a small group, not the majority of the party.

As for Grimes, she has not yet determined whether to run against McConnell.
