Jury selection begins today in the trials of two Humane Society workers charged in connection with the mistreatment of animals.

Beau Anderson and Dalena Hall are accused of improperly euthanizing animals.

The incident in question took place while both were working at the McCracken County Humane Society. Anderson, however, no longer works there.

Today's proceedings are expected to wrap up by day's end at McCracken District Court.

There are several different charges to consider, including Forgery charges for Anderson and 10 counts of Euthanizing Cats without a License and Complicity to Forgery for Hall.

Anderson's other trial on Animal Cruelty will likely head to the courts next month.

Local 6 will be in court later this morning and bring you the latest on the proceedings both on-air and online throughout the day.
