KY 286 reopened in Ballard County due to overturned tractor trailer

BALLARD COUNTY, Ky. - Road crews have finished cleaning up the site where a semi truck overturned early Tuesday morning.

The wreck happened around 5 a.m. on Kentucky 286 in Ballard County, Kentucky.

The driver, Terry Rutledge, told the Ballard County Sheriff another vehicle was in his path.

Rutledge was taken to Lourdes Hospital.

It's not clear what his condition is at this time.

The driver was hauling lime.

BALLARD COUNTY, Ky. - An overturned tractor trailer has forced the closure of KY 286/Wickliffe Road near KY 358 in Ballard County, Kentucky.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says all lanes will be blocked until about noon for cleanup.

The tractor trailer was hauling hydrated lime at the time of the crash. There is no word on injuries at this time.
