Four arrested, charged on various drug charges after home investigation
UNDATED - Authorities arrested four in Murray and Calloway Counties on various drug charges, concluding in the search of an address on McElrath Road.
Deputies of the Calloway County Sheriff's Office and Marshall County Sheriff's Office received information of possible drug activity at the address on McElrath Road in the process of a four month investigation.
After four were charged with numerous drug and operating a vehicle under the influence charges in Marshall and Calloway Counties, a search warrant was issued for the home on McElrath Road.
Authorities believed that heroin and marijuana were the drugs in question.

The arrest of the preceding resulted in a search warrant of a home on McElrath Road on Wednesday, February 12th at approximately 11 p.m. where authorities found two firearms, $1,052 in cash, 1.5 grams of suspected heroin, and drug paraphernalia.
All of the items were seized, and Michael A. Taylor, 24 of Murray was arrested and charged with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree, 1st Offense less than 2 grams of heroin, Drug paraphernalia, and Possession of synthetic drugs.
Taylor is lodged in the Calloway County Detention Center.
