Man arrested for allegedly firing gun in neighborhood, bullets hit two homes

METROPOLIS, Ill. - He allegedly fired shots in a Massac County, Illinois neighborhood.  Now, he is in jail facing charges.

33-year-old Allen D. Storm was arrested by Metropolis Police Tuesday afternoon.

On October 14, officers say he fired shots on Hayden Lane, hitting two homes with bullets.

Using witness accounts, investigators developed Storm as a person of interest.  Evidence gathered later led to his arrest.

Storm is charged with Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm.  According to a Metropolis Police Department news release, "additional charges are anticipated."
