Man arrested on drug charges after anonymous tip made to police

PADUCAH, Ky. - An anonymous tip to police led to an arrest in Paducah, Kentucky.

Police charged 40-year-old Scott W. Watson with manufacturing meth, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of meth precursors.

Police received a tip about alleged drug activity at Watson's home on McKinley Street.  Officers went to check it out and Watson allowed them inside.

Detectives found meth, drug paraphernalia and several items used to make the drug.  They also found other items in a burn pile outside the home.

After officers arrested Watson, they took him to the McCracken County Regional Jail.
