GRAVES COUNTY, Ky. - Two law officers sustained minor injuries while arresting a meth suspect Tuesday.

Graves County Sheriff Dewayne Redmon reports they arrested 38-year-old Jason Farmer of Lynnville after receiving information that he might be making methamphetamine in his car.

When they arrived, deputies say Farmer had the trunk open and was throwing items inside.

Farmer failed to do what deputies requested of him and a struggle resulted, with all three of them, including the chief and a detective on the ground.

Farmer had a knife clipped on his pocket, but they got it away from him and got him in handcuffs after several minutes.

The list of charges is long and includes assault on a police officer, resisting arrest and various drug charges.
