Man arrested: speeding, under the influence with toddler in car

MARSHALL Co, Ky - A man was pulled over for speeding and arrested for driving under the influence with a toddler in the car.

A deputy pulled over a car on US 62 for speeding, and upon contact observed a three-year-old toddler in the car and smelled a strong odor of marijuana coming from the car.

The deputy found a metal grinder with marijuana residue on it, rolling papers, a hydrocodone pill, and 2 individual crack cocaine rocks. 

Terrell J. Mays, 26 of Paducah showed several signs of being under the influence in a field sobriety test.

Mays was arrested and charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence, Wanton Endangerment 2nd Degree, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Cocaine), Possession of Controlled Substance 3rd Degree, Prescription Not in Proper Container, and speeding 14 mph Over Limit.
