Man charged with impersonating a military officer

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. -  A McCracken County man is facing charges of impersonating a military officer.

 

Deputies say 22-year-old Kyle Barwan  told people he was a warrant officer in the Special Forces about to deploy, but was having money problems.

Barwan is a veteran; but he was medically discharged in 2009 as an E-2

 

He is charged with theft by deception and may face federal charges.
